Our patients are at the center of what we do.
We provide a wide array of health care services to patients from newborn to seniors as an integrated medical facility, in Montego Bay and its environs.
We offer a full range of services from physical examinations and annual checkups to managing chronic medical conditions, acute medical care and family planning. We focus on all of your health concerns and will coordinate care with specialists when necessary.
OUR SERVICE CENTER:
At Sekhmet Medical Center we organize and maintain critical information in patient files to make sure that your medical care is consistent and of the highest quality. We provide assistance at the time of the call regarding lab results, prescription refills, patient/provider liaison and any other concerns you may have.
LAB SERVICES:
We offer lab services through our partners at AccuLab Diagnostics Limited. This lab is able to perform immediate onsite testing for you so that you do not need to make another stop to have your blood work done.
RECEPTIONIST / SCHEDULER:
Our receptionist/scheduler is waiting to greet each patient warmly and respectfully. We have an open-access model that offers same-day appointments for ideal patient service.
Dr. Jodine Jackto-Tafari
The Founder and Managing Director, Dr. Jodine Jackto-Tafari is a family physician and has been in health care for eleven (11) years. Dr. Jackto-Tafari holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from St Augustine’s University in North Carolina, where she graduated summa cum laude. During her tenure she got numerous awards and accolades which include GlaxoSmithKline Women in Science Scholar, Presidential Scholar, Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, Deans List. She also holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science Degree (MBBS) from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
During her internship and senior health officer (SHO) years at Cornwall Regional Hospital she gain prominence working as a Trauma Unit and Health Center Doctor. The medical system was always understaffed so her willingness and capacity was welcomed by her seniors. Dr. Jackto-Tafari was however not pleased with the state of healthcare and was destined to do what she could to offer more. During her tenure at a medical facility she realized just how much she impacted people with her gift of discernment. She was able to empower her patients and got very great results, so much so, that she gained popularity which propelled numerous opportunities in the Tourism and BPO Industries. She finally understood her calling.
